Looks Can Be Deceiving.

Are you crafty? Yes or no, here is a quick trick that anyone with a relatively steady hand and a pair of scissors can accomplish. We've all seen boots galore being advertised this season. Well, whatever your style or boot preference may be, spice things up with a pair of "leg warmers". Now now, don't let that word scare you. If you're thinking big and bulky, you are mistaken. "Leg warmers" have been all over the runways and in tons of lookbooks this season- wear them underneath your boots to give your legs some TLC. Plus, it's a way to alternate your looks if you're like me and wear the same pair of boots 5 days a week. So, here's where your inner Martha Stewart comes into play. If you have an old sweater that you're not going to wear anymore, take that baby out of hiding and grab your scissors-I prefer neutral colors like black, brown, grey, tan, or even olive tones. Cut the sleeves of the sweater off and voila.... "leg warmers". Use the end that would normally be worn by your wrists to stick out of the boot. That way, you can hide the end that you cut under the boots (or booties, etc.). This is 1) budget friendly and 2) on trend with what is happening this season. This is a great little trick that anyone can adapt. Happy cutting!
