It's Your Time to Shine.

Today's topic: Sequins! And just in time for the weekend! If you're looking to add a little spunk, a little somethin' somethin', some pizazz to your wardrobe, I have the answer. Invest in a sequin skirt. While this may seem like something you will get limited use out of... you are mistaken. Dress it up with a sexy top and a pair of heels, make it casual with an untucked v-neck, or relax in a chunky knit. Plus, something like this ALWAYS works with a fitted blazer and accessories of your choice. Either way, you will have just enough flair to make a statement in your sequin skirt. A mini is my favorite option but a variety of lengths and styles are becoming readily available this season. Sticking with darker, neutral colors (blacks, grays, metallics, etc.) will make this wardrobe piece a staple since mixing will be easier with a black skirt as compared to something hot pink. (FYI: Hot pink and sequins... never a good idea.) Friday is pay day so treat yourself to something sparkly for this weekend.
